HOWDY cowboys and cowgals! Were you able to mosey on over to the SLCS rodeo on July 12th? Well if not.. you missed a rootin’ tooin’ boot-scootin’ good time! The SLCS ladies were on hand, of course, looking all things southern in our adorable new star-themed uniforms and sexy knee high boots! See? You should have been there!! Our fabulous VIPs that stopped by were able to ride the buckin’ bull, get rowdy doing old west trivia and enjoy the lovely SLCS ladies doing some fine line dancing up on stage in out matching outfits and cowboy hats! A special “thank you kindly” to Sunshine Yatsenko and Dsniper Hotshop for designing the wild west at the stadium (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Girotte/221/144/49) … Persephone Milneaux and Edith Denimore for finding people to fill the stadium with cowboy-themed bargains!! And Liza Mayflower and Py Loon for organizing the sweet southern belles who entertained!!! Your SLCS belles for this event include Kimber Kytori, Charlize Bellic, Allura Juliesse, Looloo Juliesse, sarahelisebeth Breham, Mercedes Vern and of course, Persephone, Sunshine, Liza and Py!!! If y’all missed it, I sure hope you come through on our next wagon journey west and try your hand at roping yourself a true blue (and gold) cowgal
YEEHAWW!!!! <3 looloo
Fireworks! Stars! Stripes! And of course… the blue white and gold! err… um… red white and blue! hehe. On Thursday, July 3rd SLCS was well represented at the Independence Day parade around the Sagamore sim (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Sagamore/165/155/32). Led by yours truly (Looloo Juliesse), your SLCS Sweethearts including Srooc Skytower, Charlize Bellic, Amariah Francis, Py Loon, Candice Portland, Emilyaya Lenroy, Promise Skytower, Sue Bowenford and Aaryah Blackheart, we strutted ourselves around the parade route! Wearing our flirty new uniforms complete with knee-high white boots, we did stunts, danced and performed routines for the crowd that came out to celebrate America’s birthday. I mean, come on… what is more all-American than cheerleaders in a parade! WOOT! And if you missed it… all I can say is it’s an easy date to remember for next year… yes? Good! Thanks to everyone who made it out this year!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!! <3 looloo
In their second monthly VIP fun event, Sunshine Yatsenko, Liza Mayflower and Persephone Milneaux brought the beach to Girotte! That’s right… the BEACH! Now we know how much you all love the SLCS swimsuit calendars that come out each January… so what better way to reignight your affection for cheerleaders in bikinis than a mid-year pick-me-up beach party! The top floor of the stadium (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Girotte/172/19/49) featured surfboard vendors, bathing suit vendors, floating device vendors and any other vendor that you would need at the beach! lol. Throughout the day we had Beautiful Toshi, Kimber Kytori, Srooc Skytower, Persephone Milnaeux, Jessica Knapp, and yours truly (Looloo Juliesse) all led by the crowd-favorite… Py Loon performing stage routines, modeling all of the beach wears (and our bikinis!) and entertaining all of our VIPs who came by to work on their tans! Downstairs was a beach wonderland, complete with gorgeous sunset and tiki bar for those fruity drinks with little umbrellas! Everyone enjoyed themselves lounging on the beach chairs and comfy beach blankets but made sure to clean the sand out of their bathsuit bottoms on their way home
Thank you to everyone who came out to make our first beach event so fun! And if you are one of those who loved the beach balls so much that you took them home with you.. be sure to return them fully inflated! lol. j/k

We know how to keep our VIPs happy… we know what you all like… first the car show for our VIPs who prefer things fast.. then a caddied golf event at the Cheeky Cow Golf Club (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Eternal%20Rapture/224/34/3011) for those that take things slower! Marilyn Philbin and Taylor Revnik, The ladies of Cheeky Cow, have an AMAZING!!! 9-hole playable golf course set in the Scottish coutryside. Seriously. Go there. Even if you think you don’t like golf. You will love it by the time you leave. The ladies will even teach you how to play! On June 9th the SCLS ladies picked up some clubs and helped to caddy several of our VIPs around the course! Fantastic! We even had some contest going on with another of our favorite VIPs winning 500L for coming to support SLCS! Not to mention how cute we all looked with our golf clubs and Cheeky Cow caps! It was some serious fun… serious because it’s golf and fun because it’s SLCS!!! A heartfelt thank you to the ladies of Cheeky Cow. This was so fun!! Go out and try it but avoid the bunkers and water hazzards… and duck if you hear Srooc yell “FORE!” lol. <3 looloo
What’s better than the SLCS ladies performing at The Venue?? (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Eternal%20Rapture/224/34/3011) Performing there twice! That’s right… if you missed it the first time… then I sure hope you made it the second time! DJ Charles29 Bailey invited us back again to perform for a packed house at The Venue! We did tricks and routines and got to dance the night away right in to the next morning! lol! Time flies when you have as much fun as the SLCS does!! I have to admit - we did an even better job the second time around and our VIPs showed up to support us big time! KoshiVirii Robonaught even won 500L for being our special SLCS VIP winner!!! Congrats! A good time was had by all and who knows… SLCS might even be invited back to perform again in the future? (hehe) Sure hope so! Fellas - let me give you a hint… if you are looking for a special place to take your date.. The Venue is it. It’s posh enough to impress your date, but quiet enough to have some time alone. And check out the upstairs!!! There is a fabulous sitting
area and deck to go whisper sweet nothings to your sweetie! hehe. Love you guys! <3 looloo
Fast cars and hot cheerleaders… welcome to your heaven.. er.. i mean.. the 1st Annual SLCS Car Show! On May 10th the stadium (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Girotte/175/19/48) was transformed in to a sleek showroom for sexy cars on display! The basement was changed over in to a track for people to go and race their own cars or take new cars out for a bit of a testdrive. What better way to decide if you want to buy a car than with one of our gorgeous cheerleaders routing you on in the passenger seat! We ladies were in fine form performing stage shows and greeting visitors to the several booths around the stadium grounds as well as modeling the different vehicles, of course! Sunshine Yatsenko, Liza Mayflower and Persephone Milneaux did a great job with this being their first monthly event (with many more to look forward to!) and big THANKS go out to the amazing girls who helped them out! Without the work of the team this event would not have been as dazzeling and successful as it was, so big thanks to everyone involved! SLCS ROCKS!!! <3 looloo
hello hello everyone! now you didn’t think we were gone, did you? if you did… boy have you missed out! Over the past few months your favorite cheerleaders have been very busy! On April 24th we performed at The Venue (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Eternal%20Rapture/224/34/3011) for the first time! Working with DJ Charles29 Bailey was such a pleasure! What a nice guy! We had great fan turnout as we performed routines and danced the night away to get music. If you have not stopped by The Venue.. you must! It is a great undiscovered hideaway… especially for a nice quiet date (hint, hint, nudge, nudge fellas!) All I’m saying is you shoulda been there… and thanks to our amazing VIPs who did stop by! You know we love you!! <3 looloo

On Saturday March 28, 2009, the SLCS was asked to perform at a Relay For Life charity event sponsored by Justice League Unlimited ( http://slurl.com/secondlife/Xigola/234/182/575 ). The event was appropriately named ‘Be A Hero’ and mode of attire were superhero costumes. How fun this was! Everyone from Superman to the Green Lantern was on hand proudly displaying their powers. During this evening, items were sold and donations were accepted all in going towards the American Cancer Society. Much was earned and the donations just kept climbing which was incredible! The ladies of SLCS enjoyed every moment of their 30 minute performance with many of the guests attending stood close by observing. As the cheers went up from the crowd, it only caused the SLCS to shine!!! After the end of the show, onlookers were asked if they would like their pictures taken with the squad and many did not hesitate and jumped right on the mat to the delight of all the ladies. DJ Miranda kept the party going with an excellent 30 minute set of tunes that kept everyone in high spirits in which the ladies mingled with the guests and enjoyed getting to know everyone. The SLCS would like to extend a special thank you to Maverick Grunfeld, who contacted the squad to perform for such an important cause, it was an absolute pleasure. In addition, we would like to thank DJ Miranda for a job well done!!! The following slideshow contains pictures contributed by Sunshine Yatsenko, Lexxi Cazenove, & Suzanne Hancroft. Also, the SLCS would like to ask those who read this blog to help support Relay For Life and donate a few lindens in any kiosk you see on SL. Hopefully together, we can find a cure.

Slide Roll #2, photos by Amariah Francis:

Earlier this evening, the SLCS cheerleading squad held it’s first ever Cheerleader Festival to celebrate our appreciation for our VIP’s who have supported our squad by being a part of our family. This was also a chance for the ladies to just unwind and just have some fun! Tonight was an absolute success and the ladies could not be happier with the turnout. Many VIP’s arrived unsure what to expect, however the comments were ultimately positive! Carnival rides like the Tilt-A-Whirl, Ferris Wheel, & Bumper Cars, various midway and arcade games, and the infamous kissing booth were strewn about the field to the delight of all. SLCS DJ Miranda Parkin kept the party going with her outstanding choices, playing for the entire event. Everywhere one looked was something bright, colorful, cheerful and delightful which brought the inner child out that hides within each one of us. In addition, the ladies performed a routine that elicited excited applause from everyone there. Our very own Stacey Cardalines, who is employed by the ‘SLEnquirer’, also was on hand to take some pictures for an article she is writing on the squad. Stacey has already written a feature article on the squad for the publication. The pictures in this slideshow were contributed by SLCS cheerleaders: Flitter Breen, Py Loon, Stacey Cardalines, Lux Lancombe, & Brandi Wycliffe. A big WOOT! goes out to Flitter Breen and Amariah Francis for their hard work on putting this all together. Thank you everyone who attended!

Today after a very long break from SLCS due to being ill, our fearless leader, Christi Charron has returned! How incredible it was to see her name as she logged on, Flitter and myself were giggling like little kids knowing she is on the road to recovery and know that all the ladies will be so very excited to see her back on the field. This woman has worked so very hard to make SLCS as successful as it is. With her timeless energy, respect for all the ladies, patience to handle the littlest to the most immense of issues, and her constant WOOT she managed to win the hearts of all who met her. When she was gone, every single one of us felt her absence. Christi, from all of us on the squad, we send our love and are truly happy you are back home. ~~ Brandi
